Consultation on the proposed new adult social care strategy

Date: 29/10/2015
Summary: The County Council is working closely with its partners to identify the changes needed to make the health and social care system work more effectively and efficiently. This requires some changes to the way they provide social care in Leicestershire.

They have developed a proposed new strategy for adult social care support in the county. This would allow them to meet the requirements of the Care Act 2014, and the challenges of rising demand and decreasing resources.

They have also described their ideas for how they can deliver the new model and they want to know your views on these and how they can turn them into more detailed plans. The feedback you provide will be used to inform the services they provide in the future.

You can read the full consultation document and have your say by using the links below:

The consultation runs from Monday 21 September until midnight on Friday 20 November 2015.
