I am a sports enthusiast who is driven to succeed, when I am not working as a Leisure Centre Attendant or Play Scheme Coordinator I am working hard to fearful my dream of becoming an elite athlete as a T34 in wheelchair racer. I enjoy socialising with friends and I am a huge fan of The Script.
Your involvement with LCIL:
I have been involved with LCiL for a number of years but my first real involvement was my input in the transitions report that focussed on capturing the experiences of young disabled people moving from disabled children's services to adult social care. Since then I have attended a number of event and more recently, I am involved in their Get Yourself Active Project and sit on their steering group.
What made you become an ambassador?
I feel that LCiL and Choice Unlimited are working to influence positive change within all aspects of our society and this is something which I am extremely passionate about.
What you like best about LCiL and Choice Unlimited?
Their dedication to promote independence alongside making sure that individuals are supported and encouraged to achieve ambitions.
