LCiL is a User Led Organisation based in Leicester city that works in innovative ways based on the social model of disability to support disabled people at a local, regional and national level to exercise choice and control for independent living.
All our work is underpinned by the social model of disability and as a user led organisation we are run and controlled by disabled people. We positively promote equality in the workplace and in our services on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
To provide a range of professional disability services in Leicester and Leicestershire that empower disabled people and their family and friends and organisations to positively respond to disability and equality issues and contribute to achieving independence, inclusion and equality for disabled people.
To create a sustainable organisation that provides high quality services to both empower disabled people and support organisations to positively respond to disability and equality issues.
