Volunteering Opportunities

 

Information Officers x 3

Minimum 9 hours a week, spread over 2 days.

Job Purpose: To respond to enquiries from the public whilst working in a newly established Information and Library service.

We are looking for volunteers to be based within our new Information and Library service, assisting mainly disabled people with their queries. This is a new and exciting development so we will need volunteers who are reliable, enthusiastic and have a strong interest in helping people.

 

Research and IT Officer x 2

Minimum 9 hours a week spread over 2 days.

Job Purpose: To identify electronic information and background research and publicity in relation to a newly developing Information and Library service.

We are looking for volunteers to be based within our new Information and Library service, supporting with frontline and background research and assisting with visitors IT queries. Volunteers must enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and access needs.

 

Admin and Library Assistant

Minimum 9 hours a week, spread over 2 days.

Job Purpose: To assist the Information and Library staff with the smooth running of the library service

We are looking for a volunteer who is well organised and logical to work in our new Information and Library service. It is important that they are reliable and enthusiastic for the service, which will be an important resource for disabled people and people wanting information on disability issues.
